Since 1959, in the former Portuguese province of Mozambique, its founder, Manuel Marques, was active as a merchant, also in the food products sector.

WHO WE ARE
Manuel Marques company specializes in the trade of carefully selected green salted cod, primarily sourced from Iceland and Norway. Upon arrival in Portugal, the cod is stored in maturation chambers for several months. This ensures a genuinely Portuguese product – Codfish – with the authentic taste of tradition.
Finally, the Cod is packaged in various sizes and prepared for distribution, both in the domestic market and for export.
